  On the subject of Movies (two posts ago), I almost forgot to mention the brilliant “Terzi” – *The Tailor" in English (Turkish) Two Series so far on Netflix This is positively spellbinding and I thought it certainly deserved a sequel. To my delight season three was released about three weeks ago but hasn’t hit Australian screens yet. Here’s the Trailer for season 1 to whet your appetite.

Since I haven’t quite finished what I’ve been working on, let me tell you about a recent mini adventure. As you know I’m not normally a Peak Bagger, but having noticed a sign saying "To the Summit" the last time I was at Knocklofty, I thought I would give it a try. There are at least two good things about climbing mountains. The first is that you are usually rewarded with a great view. The second is that it’s downhill all the way back.    This is the view from the picnic area, so it had to be even better up top With my trusty trekking pole in hand and proper walking boots on my feet, I lumbered up the broad track that led up from the now empty Frog Ponds. Progress was slow. The early part of this track is quite steep and the vegetation changes rapidly. In the valley there are tall straight trees and many different types of vegetation.  The weather is getting warmer. I've just has my last physio session for my broken wing and I'm starting to get out and about a bit, but I did want to tell you about a couple of interesting movies I've seen  over the last couple of months before I forget. There have been some great series around, like books which you just can't put down. The following are my own interpretations, though you may well come to entirely different conclusions.  “The Giants” Tasmanian Saw this at our State Cinema. It’s Tasmanian and about the rise of the Green movement – Tasmania had the world’s first green party, which grew out of the protests against the flooding of Lake Pedder for a hydro – electric scheme in the 1970s. Despite being unable to stop the Lake Pedder project, it was able to prevent the building of a dam on the Franklin – Tasmania’s last wild river.
