They wave from windows There may not be many Easter Egg Hunts this year, but you might like to try a Bear Hunt, especially if you have children.  These are in a shopfront Since we are confined to our neighbourhoods and many children are out of school, Bear Hunting is taking off all over Australia so that children have something to look forward to when they are out for a walk.   I saw some myself today which made me curious. Unfortunately I was a bit short of bears  so we now have a spotted giraffe in the window.  When you have run out of bears to find, here are some ideas which you CAN try at home. Happy Easter Everyone! A bit of a weird one this year as we are on shutdown, so no getting away for the long weekend, no Easter egg hunts with the children and so on, but there is still some fun to be had. I’ll tell you about it on the next page. Have a lovely time!

Apparently it was the best Earth Hour ever. With so many countries in lockdown, there was little traffic, little air travel and less industry so that emissions went down, even Los Angeles had clear skies for the first time since the 1950s and the canals of a tourist -free Venice were clean. Unfortunately, World Water Day on March 22nd became another casualty of Coronavirus with many events being cancelled or deferred, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t give it some thought.   It’s hard to tell people to wash their hands when three billion people around the world don’t have the facilities at home to do that, let alone bathe, cook, feed livestock or grow vegetables, and not counting water needed for industry, mining or power generation.   This year’s theme is water and climate change.
