Celebrations of continued existence*

"There are things known and things unknown, and in between are the doors." - Jim Morrison

In other good news, one of my favourite and most brilliant techies has helped me to break into my facebook account for the first time in four years. I had not only forgotten my username and password and the dodgy email account I used, but I kept getting the answer to the security question wrong too. Sorry about not responding to all those messages. Yes, well I am pleased to report that I am alive and well, if a little subdued and hung over. Apparently, much as I hate social media - do my friends really want to know that I am now going to bed or having breakfast?  -apparently you simply no longer exist if you don't update your facebook account.

As I move on to my own annual celebration of continued existence I am inspired by the words of Sophie Tucker when asked the secret of her long life," Keep breathing."
I also like this one:
"Don’t ever save anything for a special occasion. Being alive is a special occasion.”
Avril Sloe
Love to you both, my readers.

*This is a brilliant line C. Hope you don't mind me borrowing it!
